TC= Tail Code; código de 2 letras escritas na “cauda” da aeronave.
ANG= Air National Guard
AFRC= Air Force Reserve Command

Sempre os primeiros exemplares de um novo modelo são usados como treinadores….é preciso treinar os futuros instrutores, mecânicos antes.

A quantidade de aeronaves por esquadrão varia bastante.

No caso do AFRC:
Comando da Força Aerea Reserva ou Comando Reserva da Força Aerea ?

Faz parte da força área ou é independente e complementar como a Guarda Aerea Nacional?

O significa dizer que os aviões estão na reserva (AFRC)? Afinal, se os aviões estão na base e não saem do hangar eles já estão na reserva, não?

No caso do AFRC: Comando da Força Aerea Reserva ou Comando Reserva da Força Aerea ? Caro Jonas, seria Comando da Reserva da Força Aérea. Ele é um dos comandos da USAF (portanto faz parte da mesma), e é independente da Guarda Aérea Nacional. A USAF tem portanto duas forças de reserva. O significa dizer que os aviões estão na reserva (AFRC)? Na verdade são os militares que estão na reserva, e se apresentam em média um fim de semana por mês. Os esquadrões deles somam mais do que nossos aviões juntos, somando até os tucanos e os que temos nos museus hahaha
galera é bom a compra dos Super F-18 porque antes amigos deles do que inimigos!
Sem fala que a Europa mergulhou em uma crise que pode demora pra sair então os caças europeus podem não ser uma boa compra.

Imagina o gasto diário só de horas vôo,realmente só tem um jeito de meter medo nesse país, um tipo de arma que seus principais opositores estão tentando conseguir, por que numa luta força aerea contra força aerea não tem como vencer, só persuadindo com arma núclear ou guerra assimétrica, imagina quantos misseis BVR! Um porta aviões tem mais poder que toda nossa força aerea!

100% dos pilotos da FAB passam pela AFA e convivem por alguns anos lá. Pelo menos três turmas para baixo e três para cima eles se conhecem muito bem.

Na USAF é bem diferente. Primeiro porque tem mais pilotos e segundo porque só uma parcela deles sai da AFA.
